FARMINGTON -- The Davis County Health Department received a $5,000 grant for its medicalreservecorps .

The grant from the National Association of County & City Health Officials will help the health department put applications, information and a registry list on its Web site, said Davis County Health Director Lewis Garrett on Tuesday. The county is organizing a volunteer medicalreservecorps to help in times of an epidemic or other health crisis, Garrett said.
